supporting you to cultivate the inner and outer capacities for navigating what lies within, and the systems beyond

my work unfolds across two distinct forms of practice, each building capability in folks to listen deeply and work adaptively to create meaningful change for the people, places and systems they care about. while the tools and contexts span a spectrum, the orientation stays the same: that when we hold space for this way of being, learning, and doing, we shift what can become possible.
for over fifteen years, i have worked as a systems practitioner, educator, and process designer across government, health, academic, and community sectors — designing learning programs, leading systemic inquiries, and building capacity for systems thinking in individuals, teams, and organisations navigating complex change. the work spans domains as varied as mental health, housing, persistent pain, water governance, and equity. this work is housed at the systems school, where i continue to grow the practices, frameworks and community that this kind of change work needs.
alongside this, and drawing from a longer learning lineage of mindfulness, somatic practice, and energetic work, i hold space for a quieter kind of inquiry. drawing on guided reflection, sound and energy therapy, and wisdom cards, i work one-on-one with individuals to explore what is alive for them — a question, a feeling, a challenge, or an emerging intention. this strand of my practice reflects the same core commitment: that genuine change, whether systemic or personal, begins from within. this work lives at she holds space, a place where folks can access their own innate wisdom, in order to honour within.
most recently i’ve sought to apply all i’ve learned from facilitation, curriculum development and community building to the ‘conference space’. i’ve come to see these opportunities as one of the greatest leverage points we have for changing systems. where whole sector/field knowledge and wisdom is gathered for knowledge exchange, integration and application. i’m driven to explore how we can best utilize this resource heavy investment for better long term outcomes.
i am a lifelong learner in all the ways learning happens — the rigour of academic training, the craft of facilitation and process design, the embodied knowledge that comes through somatic and energetic practice, and the deeper relationship with all things, that comes from spending time with the natural world. what connects these is less a method than an orientation — to stay curious, to keep becoming, and to walk alongside others doing the same.
areas of practice
we facilitate transformative learning experiences that build capacity in individuals, teams and collaborations for systems thinking and systems wayfinding.
gathering well works with social sector teams to create conferences where learning sticks and connections hold. we collaborate with you to build learning architecture that supports participants to integrate what they hear, talk with peers about what it means, and consider how it applies in their practice.
together we explore what is alive for you—a feeling, a question, a challenge, or an intention. we work together to make meaning from what emerges, connecting with your inner wisdom and receiving insight reflected through the cards.
